His journey began in 1995, following formal training at the Pro Arte School of Arts in Pretoria (1989-1991) and further specialization in Illustration and Graphic Design at Tshwane University of Technology (1992-1994). Over the years, Nico has garnered numerous prestigious awards in both illustration and design, reflecting his commitment to excellence and creativity.
Nico’s artwork is featured in galleries, homes, corporate offices, and restaurants throughout South Africa and internationally. Among his most notable achievements are his commissions for the Big Brother Africa II and Big Brother Africa IV houses, showcasing his ability to create impactful and memorable large-scale artwork.
